    Suspension & Steering

    Q: Can I lower my FTO? and by how much?

    A: Yes various lowering springs are available(check out links page for suppliers and you can lower your FTO up to 45mm at the front and up to 35mm at the rear.


    Q: What should my tyre pressures be ?

    A: Front 2.2 Bar/32psi - Rear 1.9 Bar/28psi

    Electrics

    Q: What battery will fit my FTO?

    A: A Nissan Micra battery will fit - HB054 from Halfords

    Q: I have heard people talking about resetting the ECU. What do I need to do?

    A: Very simple really disconnect the battery for about 15 mins and this will fully reset the ECU.

    Bodywork

    Q: Do I need to underseal my FTO?

    A: Yes! they only have minimal underseal as standard in Japan which is not up to the damp weather, harsh winters and salt on the roads that we have in the UK.

    Q: Are bodykits available ?

    A: Yes there are various kits from the likes of Veilside, HKS, Dcuatro and many more. Full details of what kits are available can be found at www.mitsubishi-fto.org

    Interior

    Q: I have replaced my original stereo with a single DIN unit, what can I do about the space left below it ?

    A: A single DIN storage tray can be purchased from Mitsubishi (MR114355) to fit the space.
