What you need:
  • Engine Flush
  • New Oil Filter
  • New Sump Nut Washer
  • Oil 5ltrs
  • 22mm Socket
  • Oil Filter Wrench
  • Rubber/Latex gloves (Oil is not good for you)
  • Oil Catch Container
  • Trolley Jack & Axle stands
    1. What To Do:
    2. Run the engine for to warm it up and then add the engine flush and leave it idling for 15mins then turn off the engine.
    3. Jack up the car and put axle stands under, get underneath and place the catch container under the sump and using the 22mm socket loosen off and remove the sump plug, leave the oil to drain for 30-45 mins.
    4. Using the filter wrench undo and remove the oil filter, you will need to move the catch tray as some oil will drain from the filter.
    5. Fit new oil filter, smear a thin layer of new oil around the rubber seal before fitting. *Note* The filter should be fitted hand tight only!
    6. Re-fit the sump plug remembering to use the new washer.
    7. Re-fill with new oil.
    8. Run the engine for 10mins and then re-check oil level, topping up as required, also check around the sump plug and oil filter for any leaks.
    9. Job done for another 6000 miles or 6 months
